Schedule a Configuration Download for Multiple Devices

After you set up your global settings (email address, timezone, network settings), assign at least one Service Screen account to the pay station, create a configuration (zone or hardware) and assign pay stations to a zone and hardware configuration, you can schedule the configuration download.

Important: It's very important to remember that when you schedule a configuration (zone, hardware, or device) download, any changes saved to the global or device settings and published to the hardware and zone configuration become part of the pay station's configuration file and are downloaded to the pay station regardless of the type of download: device, hardware, or zone. See Publish a Configuration for more details.

  1. From the Navigation Panel, select Schedule.

  2. From the drop-down menu, select what type of download you want to set up:

    • Devices: Select the individual devices you want to schedule. Any changes made to these pay stations (global settings, device settings, zone configuration, and hardware configuration) since the last configuration download are downloaded.
    • Hardware: Hardware configurations that are published but have not yet been downloaded display and are available for scheduling. Scheduling by hardware configuration is just a way to quickly schedule a download without having to select individual devices. Remember though, that when you schedule a download based on the hardware configuration, changes saved and published to the pay stations attached to the hardware configuration are downloaded (not just hardware changes).
    • Zone: Published zone configurations display and are available for scheduling. Scheduling by zone configuration is just a way to quickly schedule a download without having to select individual devices. Remember though, that when you schedule a download based on the zone configuration, changes saved and published to the pay stations attached to the zone configuration are downloaded (not just zone changes).

  3. In the Schedule Date fields, set up the date and time for the download.

  4. Click Schedule.

    The pay station(s) is now scheduled. You can view scheduled pay stations from the Status page. Scheduled downloads display in the Configurations part of the Device Details page for that pay station.
